We believe that there is a plateau in the mountain of bladed tools, where price and performance come together. You get what you pay for, but you don't really need to pay a premium amount for a quality tool.

We use, recommend, and sell tools from, Bear & Son, Columbia River Knife and Tool, Kershaw, SOG, Spyderco, Timberline, and TOP's. We believe these brands are on that plateau of performance vs price.

We specialize in Hand Axes, Tactical, and Rescue knives, we include our 3.5" Tactical Patch in the photos for scale.

Our Axes are selected for their full tang strength and chopping ability.

From left clockwise; Kershaw Camp Axe 11" OA $30.00  Timberline Kommer Canoe Hatchet 13.25" OA $45.00                                  TOPs Outfitters Axe 14" OA $135.00

Towards the growing trend of Tactical & Rescue Folding Knives, we now stock the following assisted and one hand opening Knives.

From Left; Kershaw 'Needs Work' 4 1/8" closed $35.00                               SOG Search & Rescue 4 5/8"  closed $55.00                    Spyderco Endura 4 Waved Plain Edge 5" closed $65.00                 Kershaw Speed Bump 5" closed $70.00       Spyderco Assist w/Glass Breaker 4 7/8" closed $75.00                              SOG Twitch XL Tanto Black $80.00

Keith is still a big believer in fixed blades for Emergency Knives. They are simply more dependable, and easier to deploy. We stock from left;

CRKT Emergency Rescue Bear, AUS-4 Stainless $35.00 Kershaw Responder AUS-8A Stainless $40.00                                CRKT McGowan M.A.K. 1 (Multi Access Knife) $55.00

A fixed blade duty or field knife is indespensable when working hazardous detail. We stock from left;

Boker Plus MPT $65.00                                    Bear & Son ATAC $45.00            Kabar Impact D2 Spear Point Micarta $90.00

Neck knives present a great combination of dependability, ease of carry, and concealment. We carry at left, the CRKT Triumph N.E.C.K. w/Multi Carry Option Sheath for $25.00 and the CRKT Ringer Hawk Blade, a natural self defense knife even for the untrained for $20.00

Optics can be an important part of fieldcraft, or emergency response. As much from bird watching, as from his experience with surveillance, Keith believes that the best general application optic is a lower powered, wider angle binocular. Higher magnification makes target acquisition and tracking much more difficult.       These 7 X 35mm Winchester Wide Angle Binoculars, make acquiring, and following, moving objects much easier.  $40.00

Lighting is one of the most important aspects of emergency preparedness. Keith personally selected the Safe-Light Super-Bright Light at right, for his personal emergency light. It's 9 volt battery will power it's emergency locating glow mode for over a year. It has a highly useful flood type wide angle beam, 100 Hrs. Low Beam Mode, 20 Hrs. High Beam Mode, and Distress Strobe Mode for $15.00. Next left is the Safe-Light PA-Light, basically the same, but with a more focused spotlight type beam, and 200 Hr. low beam mode. This $20.00 model comes with a belt sheath. Top center is the Pelican M6 LED Light with Blitzer Tail Cap. This unit puts out a bright 41 lumens, and with the Blitzer Tail Cap, can create a disorienting strobe effect for defensive use. Two tone model discounted to $80.00, will soon be replaced  by an all black model at $105.00. At left is the Princeton Tec Surge, an 8 AA Powerhouse putting out 115 lumens, perfect for security or SAR, as a secondary spotlight, $35.00
